08:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
This course covers navigating the IMDG code, including organization, structure, scope and applicability of the code, training requirements, security requirements, as well as definition, identification, and special requirements for marine pollutants. U.S. regulatory codes and international modal agencies now also require hazmat/dangerous goods employees to be trained in security awareness and to know their individual responsibilities within the mandated written security plans implemented by their employer. This certification must be renewed at least every three years, but renewal every two years is recommended because the IMDG regulations are updated every two years. Training includes testing and completion certificates, as well as continental breakfast and lunch. (7.5 CES)
Early registration: $275 (deadline is 2/19)
Full price: $350
Space is limited, so please register by 3/15 to reserve your seat.
