Part 2: Buy American, Made in USA: Country of Origin Marking, Know the Differences

Are you exporting a made in the USA product? Are you familiar with Country of Origin marking compliance?

This program will explain the differences between the Buy American Act, country of origin and marking requirements of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), and the Federal Trade Commission’s Made in USA Standard.


Presenters will discuss the compliance challenges and strategies for each of these standards, including applying for binding rulings from CBP, as well as the consequences for non-compliance. This workshop is designed to provide critical information to include in your export plan. It is part 2 of a 4 part export information series.
