Routed Export Transactions

Tuesday, October 21, 2014
09:00am - 11:00am

When a foreign buyer controls the transportation of U.S. exported goods, the shipment is considered a routed export transaction. Since the U.S. government heavily monitors these "high risk" shipments, exporters must be particularly vigilant about complying with regulatory requirements for these types of transactions. Many exporters are unaware of the legal and financial penalties linked to routed export violations.

This training seminar is a must for exporters who sell using Ex-Works (EXW), FOB, FCA, or FAS.

You will learn

  • how to identify a routed export transaction
  • roles and responsibilities of those involved in routed exports
  • exporter obligations for licensing, AES filing, and recordkeeping
  • mitigating and aggravating factors for violations

Seminar includes continental breakfast. Space is limited, so please register by 10/14 to reserve your seat.
