Empire State Development, with assistance from the U.S. Small Business Administration, is pleased to announce the New York Food and Beverage Trade Mission to China. This is an excellent time to discover new opportunities in this market.
U.S. exports of consumer food products to China have experienced double-digit growth, and record-breaking sales of over US $3 billion. Retail growth online, as well as in stores, is broadening the consumer audience. China now ranks as the 5th largest market for consumer-ready food products from the U.S., with increased consumption of imported food and agricultural products. Chinese consumers are looking to the U.S. for safety, consistency and good value.
And New York, in particular, has a strong brand identity in China.
Join the Trade Mission and discover the opportunities for your products!
Under a grant (“STEP”) from the Small Business Administration, Empire State Development can reimburse some of the eligible costs for participants:
• Round Trip Airfare (subject to Fly America Act) — New York to Beijing
